Warranty/Maintenance
Any reference to warranty and/or maintenance should be taken to
mean basic warranty/maintenance as provided by the manufacturer
unless it specifically states that the warranty is on-site warranty/maintenance
provided by Newbridge Network Services.
The warranty provided by most manufacturers, often described as
'limited warranty', included parts and labour on their own products
only. Where the warranty is not described as 'on-site', it is
the user's responsibility to return the faulty item to, and collect
it from, the warranty service provider's premises. In the case
of on-site warranty, an engineer will be provided by the manufacturer
to visit the user's site in order to correct the problem. These
warranties normally make no guarantees about response or fix times
and are restricted to replacing the faulty component, not re-loading
and/or re-configuring the system and/or its operating software.
